The Samuel Lover Wall Plaque.

Samuel Lover had faith enough to believe that he would be “gathered among the flock of the Good Shepherd” thanks to the “tender mercies of his Saviour”. Who, you might ask, is the Good Shepherd, and what does it mean to be gathered into his flock? Jesus is the Good Shepherd. The Bible tells us that “at that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the Earth to the ends of the heavens”. Jesus will send his angels to gather all those that know him, all those who have accepted him as their Saviour. Samuel Lover had the assurance to know that he would be one of those gathered by the angels, for he loved Jesus as his Lord and Saviour.
