The Shepherd Wall Plaque.

The quote from the Bible written on this wall plaque is taken from the letter to the Romans, Chapter 5 verse 1. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” But what does it mean? Paul in this letter to the Roman church is reminding them that, through faith in Jesus Christ, their relationship with God, which was originally broken by Adam in the Garden of Eden, is now restored. Put simply it states that, if we have faith, if we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that he died because of the things that we have done wrong in our lives, our sin, we are justified before God; it is to God just as if we had not sinned in the first place.
