The Door of Reconcilliation.

This old Chapter House door is famous because it brought about reconciliation between two Earls, the Earl of Ormonde, and the Earl of Kildare, within the walls of this cathedral. However, it brings to mind a much more important reconciliation, that between God and Man. For we are told that, “God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself”. In fact Jesus through his revelation to John says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me”.

Is Jesus waiting outside the door of your life?
